Caticlan, the closest airport to Boracay is currently being upgraded by San Miguel Corporation to accomodate interantional air travel. The expansion of the Caticlan airport is expected to be completed in 2016. The capacity is expected to increase from 18 to 36 daily flights, besides, the new airport will be able to accomodate larger aircrafts.
Bulabog beach, where Hacienda de Boracay is located, is one of the top five kite surfing destination in the world.
